Chillicothe scored 20 runs on 21 hits as their defense continued to srtuggle. Seth Dawes hit a grand slam for his first HR of the season as Cody Speakman had 4 hits and Derrick Webb had 3 hits with 4 RBI. Zach Glendening had a double and knocked in a run. Nathan Winston picked up the W.

Not mentioned in previous message...... Carey has game winning hit after not playing for week due to arm injury ,not sure when he will be able to play field or pitch. Cavs need his glove and bat in lineup. Chilly defense is atrocious at best.....We needed to get bats hot and the kids came through .Too much talent on this team to have a losing record....Defense is the culprit ,.....GO CAVS !!!!

Wonder if Gallipolis will be able to play the Cavs at VA on Monday? Weather down here in Gallipolis is damp and cold. What a spring for high school baseball. We've had as many postponements as games played thus far.

Unless it's pouring I would say the game gets played ....

It's going to be mostly cloudy, but cold tomorrow. All games should be able to be played in the Chillicothe area.
