Tim Martin and his Minford Falcons

Post by free safety »

There has been alot of talk about the game last night and I want to be the first to say that Minford has the best field around, the seats, indoor cages, music, grass, airplanes overhead and THE BIG RED WALL what an atmosphere for baseball. If you haven't watched a game there you should. It is top notch, I can't say enough about Mr. Martin allowing Post 23 play home games there.

I agree 100%. Definitely the cream of the crop of baseball diamonds in our area.

Is Wheelersburg planning on a new field to go with the new school?

I have to say I agree as well. Minford has a fantastic facility and Coach Martin has done a lot for the baseball program out there.

It is a nice place. But my favorite is still Hegarty Field at Northwest. When kept up, that place is awesome. It has legit distances as well.

Today's game is at 7 PM. It was going to be 5 PM, but was moved back. Tomorrow's game is at 10 AM.
