Felt like it was time to move on and put Wed. game behind us. Any thoughts?

I look for Burg to win this, the second matchup. First game was over in 5, 14-0. However, Burg must not revert to sluggish play after the big win over the Falcons last night.

The way Burg hit the ball last night I wouldn't be suprised if a few balls leave the Oaks field.

Good luck to the Pirates against the Oaks. I just hope there is no let down after that manhandling of Minford on Weds evening.

One at a time boys, one at a time.

Where is the Oak Hill ball park located?

Doc, here is a link to a map showing the location of all the fields and schools in Oak Hill and it looks like it might be out by the old school.

Doc, the baseball field is located where the old high school stood.

Thanks, I figured that it was probably there as it is not at the new High School. Since I have to be in Oak Hill for a track meet, I thought I might get there for an inning or two.

Good luck to both teams. Hoping for an injury-free game!

Trust me. I can get 200 baseball pictures and 800 track pictures tonight if they let me off work in time. So track won't hurt too bad by me spreading the wealth.

Unfortunately I broke my external flash during basketball season and I never to remember to replace it--otherwise it would be about 1000 pictures tonight at the track. There is only a couple of places on the Oak Hill track where it might be light enough to get a decent picture without a flash. So I probably won't get many pictures after 8 pm.

I just got a phone call and it's 31-3 Wheelersburg in the 4th inning. All the starters have been pulled.

That's 62 runs, so far, in the past two games.

The Pirates are on roll, looks like there is only one thing that can stop them. And if anybody watched the game they know what that is.

WOW!!!!!!

That is amazing. Does anyone know if that is a two game record or anything?

Very impressive win. Looks like they had no let down after the big game on Wednesday.

Just hope this doesn't go to their heads and they let it catch up to them.

Wow. Burg is playing AMAZING. They could probably play the Reds and beat them. I am still in shock with the amount of runs they have scored in the past two games. This has got to be a record. I don't know if anyone can beat Wheelersburg. Good luck the rest of the season.

Thanks Falcon, but anyone can beat anyone on any given day is baseball. The key is to get to better everyday and take one day/game at a time. We need to focus for 2 games tomorrow against Albany Alexander.

How true catch24. The Burg just needs to stay focused on the game at hand and not worry about the next game. Big doubleheader tomorrow against Alexander.

Hopefully the rain holds off long enough to get these games in.

Hope the rain holds off so the games can be played. Alexander, I have heard, is not very good this year, either. Lots of teams in southern Ohio seem to be way, way down this years. Why is that? Are kids not playing baseball (other than in the burg?).
