The Athens JV Dogs made their last trip of the week playing their 6th and 7th games of the week in Sheridan. It was a very long week for the JV Dogs with some ups, and some downs. The JV Dogs battled closely in Game 1 of the double header, after being down the JV Dogs battle the game to a (4-2) Sheridan advantage after 4 1/2 innings of play. But a huge bottom of the 5th was all the JV Generals needed to get the Game 1 WIN (8-4)...In Game two, the JV Dogs got out to the early lead, leading (2-1) after 3. The JV Generals then would go to tie the game up in the 4th. Athens would reclaim the lead in the top at (3-2), but another BIG 5th by the JV Generals would be the decider as they scored 4 in the inning to get a nice lead. That would end the scoring for both teams as the JV Generals took the nightcap (6-3)...
