SOC I and SOC II standings?

Post by bulkmove »

What are the SOC I standings?? Overall records and league records.

What are the SOC II standings?? Overall records and league records.

The Daily Times does a decent job posting some records but I'd really like to see them get more involved in keeping records and stats. I read the Columbus Dispatch the other day and they have leaders for so many categories that it was interesting to read. Why doesn't the Portsmouth Daily Times do the same?

See, if our local paper did its job then maybe I wouldn't have to ask these questions on here. Very poor paper when it comes to spring sports.

This is my point. We shouldn't have to search forever to find out teams records. But thanks for the information.

Actually you posted all the records that I knew. I wish the PDT would do a weekly update of the records for the area like they do for football, but I'm sure that would depend on coaches reporting it to the paper. They could do pitchers, hitting leaders, RBI leaders, HR leaders, etc. Maybe someone from the PDT could get with the area coaches and initiate this for next season.

Taking a shot at the SOC I as of 5/5. This should be very close:

1- Symmes Valley
2- ND
3- Green
4- Eastern
5- Clay
6- East
7- Western

Green plays Western, ND, and SV this week--weather permitting.
