From Jackson without a doubt Tyrus Coyan who should also be considered as a top runner for league MVP. A pitcher/1st base/ DH. Has not lost a game pitching this year. A couple saves. Ton of strike outs, low ERA. Not sure of his batting avg. but I'm sure it's pretty high, and close to 10 HOMERUNS!(maybe someone out there has his complete stats) I don't care what you say this kid has had an AMAZING year. A great senior leader to help turn this Ironmen baseball program around.

Also a consideration for All League would be
Bruce Smith Sr. 3rd/SS/2nd/P. - Powerfull leadoff with 2 HR, good batting avg. and good infielder.
Stephen Ferris Sr. SS/2nd- Maybe one Error all year. One of the best middle infielders around. Also great contact hitter who places the ball all over the field.
Chris Comer Sr. C- VERY powerfull hitter.Has 3 HR and a ton of doubles. Almost every hit goes to the fence. Great arm and blocking ability. Transfer from Wellston that made a huge impact in helping the Ironmen this season.
Anthony Malone-P/2nd- Has 2 HR this year. He has improved a ton this year and has been a great pitcher to help out the Ironmen. He is probably the best contact hitter without a doubt also. Always hits it hard and on a line.

For Zanesville I would go with:
SO Wade Kaido 3B/1B batting over .400
SR Shane Miller C batting over .400
JR JT Bunting CF unreal glove leads team and maybe league in SB's and team leader on/off the field
SR Adam Young DH/P batting over .400 battled injury 4 year letter winner
SR Corey Hull SS 3 errors in 21 games
SR Brandon Smith 7-0 record against good teams batting over .300
SO Colten Maxwell 3B/P batting over .400 takes the ball against best teams on schedule 6-1

With this team no real evident stud but by far best TEAM in the league and we all know that is most important, b/c it isn't the name on the back of the jersey that matters it is the name on the front.

Bluedevilpride -- can you not count? I said only 4!!!
Im only kiddin'...

These years Zanesville Squad reminds me of a Athens Squad from back in 2001. That Athens Squad went (19-3) and had the same type of TEAM, 9 guys playing as ONE UNIT...

Good luck to ALL...

Marietta

Junior - Evan Brockmeir (great shortstop and dominate pitcher with the best pickoff move for a righty in the league)

Junior - Zane Eschbaug (good hitter and has devolped into an outstanding CF this season)

Sophomore - Tyler Brooker (he has had an outstanding season on the mound with only a couple bad games)

Senior - Christian Hudspeth (the best 1st baseman in the league and has the best Batting Average on the team)

Having watched the North teams play, here are the players that have impressed me this season.

Zanesville: The whole lineup!
CF... JT Bunting...Great leadoff man and tremendous outfielder and leader
P......Cole Hudson...As good as Warren has faced this season
C.....Shane Miller....good hitter and nullifies any running game
SS...Corey Hull.....Very good defensively
DH...Adam Young...Great hitter...shame he's had so many injuries

Marietta: P/SS...Evan Brockmeier...Great pitcher, hitter and leader
CF.....Zane Eschbaugh.....Web gem plays in the outfield every game

Athens: SS......Jared Cline...Very solid defensively
CF.....Greg Pach...if he is the leadoff man-very fast

Logan: Only saw them play twice but no one stands out.

Warren: P.......Daniel Wagner...One of leagues best pitchers...bat slowed by injuries this year.
C/SS/3rd/2nd...Tyler Spence...High on base %...plays everywhere defensively
CF......Cory Hooper...Great CF and hitter
