Rock Hill Baseball

Post by #1_fan »

From what I've heard, Rock Hill has quite the making for a very nice team this year! Any thoughts on this???

Good luck this year boys!

the redmen should be pretty good, especially with Malone and Davenport. both are very good ballplayers

Rock Hill will be good... But a couple other teams in the OVC will be good too. Can't leave out Coal Grove or SP. Fairland... Might be ok but nothing compared to what they were, especially losing as many seniors they did and they're coach. So it'll be different competition this year.

Rock Hill might be good this year but when does that matter?
They only play 14-15 games a year, and usually lose the first or second round of the tournament.

They have one of the nicest layouts for a field but not the nicest field, they don't play anybody. So my guess for the REDMEN, 9-5 or 10-4 and losing in the first round.

true, rock hill usaully does lose in the first or second round. but as far as playing anybody, this is how i see it. they're not the only ones, its the whole conference. the ovc is a conference in which if you're team has 2 or 3 good players tops, you can rely on just those select few to win. thats why anyone in the ovc never makes it past the first or second round. with the exception of fairland when Hill was there, but to even further my point, he's the reason they went as far as they did... but i hand it to Hill, that kid is a heck of an athlete.
