congrats!!!! i wouldent call it an upset since minford is having a great year, but then again wheelersburg has been tagged the team to beat

WOW! What a great game from both these teams.Burg was put into some situations (bases loaded 0 outs and men on 2nd and 3rd 1 out) and didnt give up any runs a true sign of a great ball club. Elliot pitched a marvelous game as well as hitting a homer to put Burg up early.
Minford played a fundamentally sound game all around. Good pitching effort by Brandon Lore coming after Sanford started to give up hits, Key hits throughout the lineup with the game winning hit coming from fresham Eli Duduit.As well as good defense. Take care of the little things and the big things will follow. Minford followed this philosphy tonight and it paid off with a W over the Wheelersburg Pirates...

Good win for Minford! This should serve as a pretty loud wake-up call to the Pirates. If they hope to have any real playoff success, they have to tighten up the loose ends in the field and be more disciplined in their approaches at the plate.

Minford played mistake free baseball last night. Great win for Minford and great performance on the mound by Brandon Lore.

Congrats to Minford on the win last night against the Pirates. Minford made plays on defense and had some timely hitting. Burg had too many errors and could not get the key hit when needed. I look forward to the rematch.

Great win for Minford! As coach Martin stated in the paper, He told his players, "you can change this fearing Wheelersburg" and they did. Minford has had some great teams in the past but would always fold like a lawn chair when they played the burg. I believe the attitude at Minford is changing in all sports to one of belief. Go Falcons!!!!
