Rain washed the game out ... I think it made it a few innings - but that's about it.

I was at a little league game Jottings ... I pulled up to the high school field afterward and just asked a patron if they got the game in ... They said no and that it only went about 3 pr 4 innings but they couldn't remember the score ... Maybe Bulldogcoach2012 or another poster that was their can add some insight.

The Athens/Gallia game was suspended after three innings. At that point it was pretty even. Score was 1-1. Both pitchers had thrown 53 pitches. Gallia had one hit, Athens had three.

The Athens/gallia game got started and we got three innings in before the rain came pouring down. Gallia scored in the 2nd inning on a single by Brandon Taylor, two wild pitches and a sacrifice fly by Bryant Bobovitz. Athens scored in the 3rd as Austin Ziolkowski singled to start the inning. He was picked off first by Ty Warnimont for the 1st out. Casey Grimm was hit by the pitch and then stole 2nd, Jacob Schriner singled to center totie the game. Austin Howard singled to center and Chris Ford walked to load the bases, but Justin Bailey struck out the next batter to end the threat. Heavy rains came to the area, ending the game at that point. Nice crowd from both schools. Two very nice teams.
