I know a lot of places have cancelled already. I just looked and it appears that the snow will hold off in Chillicothe, but it will be very cold early in the morning. Not sure what that will do about the games at the VA though.

All the games at the VA on Saturday are postponed. A few were rescheduled for next week at the VA. Others will be played at school sites, i.e. Circleville at Canal Winchester on Monday.

There's no reason to play with the wind chill in the mid-20s.

Yeah..as much as people want to play, it’s probably too cold and risky on arms to play. Especially this early in the season. Bats are at risk too.

Better safe than sorry. I just hope that the rationale was because of the wind and not the possibility of snow. My experience leans towards it being the snow though.

Look like a lot of the bad weather has broken up. After 2:00 in this area with plenty of sunshine and 45 degrees.

Yes, those darn meteorologist induced panic into the area and people canceled a little too early. I know it's cold, but 40 is normal weather for this type of year.

It was either 2008 or 2009 when Circleville played Unioto in a district semifinal at the VA, and it snowed for part of the game. What made it even more bizarre was it was about 90 for the sectional finals the previous week.
