Fairfield Union (4-1) - beat Logan x2, Fisher, Circleville; lost to Watkins Memorial [FU has a good team this year, and the Buckeye division of the MSL is going to be a bloodbath.]

And only 1 team getting out will make earning that sectional and district titles even more impressive.

Warren is loaded
Miami Trace has a really talented group
Hillsboro is fast and really good
Waverly appears to have a ton of pitching and is always solid

Circleville and Unioto have some really talented young kids, while Unioto has a really nice senior class as well.

Jackson, Marietta, Athens, Gallia, Fairfield Union all have great programs, just I’m not sure what they return.

It’s going to be a battle for whomever wins the district for sure.

What date is the play in game, or does the 17th seed not get to play in the tourney? If you beat a better seed, do you inherit their seed for location and batting last?

Much of Jackson’s starting lineup are juniors and seniors that were varsity starters 2 years ago where we left off.

It's a very good question. This year in basketball, if you beat the higher seed - you DID NOT become that seed. Higher seed hosted no matter what.

It’s very early in the season, but Jackson has been the most impressive team I have seen so far from this group. Obviously, I haven’t seen all of them, but I have seen several of them. Again, very early, but I like Jackson. Hillsboro has a really nice team as well

They really are. Lineup battles good top to bottom and 7-8 guys hitting pretty good and a few are flat out raking. Have had 4 different starters pitch well, 2 guys DH well, more athletic than usual.

Rolling right now.

Hillsboro good too. Struggled with D4 Whiteoak today and won 3-2 but Whiteoak catcher broke wrist and had to use freshman catcher and Boro scored 2 on passed balls. Did hear their pitche looked really good though for Hillsboro.

Whiteoak's catcher that broke his wrist is good.
