It took 8 innings to complete the pitcher's duel started last week before the rain hit. Eblin and Ison both looked good with Burg having a couple more runners than Waverly early. JT Barnett led off the bottom of the 7th for Waverly with a double and was moved to 3rd with a sac bunt. He is banged up and limping so that ran for him and the pinch runner got thrown out at home after a not quite deep enough fly ball. Burg got runner to 1st and 3rd with 2 outs in the top of 8, but the inning ended on a line out to 2nd. With 1 out in the bottom of 8, Flanders hit a double to straight away center and then freshman Hurd had the walk off RBI double to left to end the game.
