West Hires Brady Knittel
Want to congratulate the new head coach at Portsmouth West, Brady Knittel. Brady is probably the most qualified 27 year old you could find in southern Ohio. A standout player at West himself where he accumulated many wins and accolades, a decorated college career, assistant coach at Shawnee state, assistant coach at Minford where they swept the SOC by storm for a dominant stretch. I’m sure much of that same staff which are West alums will follow back to their alma mater and improvement will be seen immediately be seen. It might not happen over night but these guys will demand discipline, attention to detail, and accountability. Some of the best baseball minds you will ever talk to I think they will be able to get involved with the feeder systems and start getting the major athletes to enjoy baseball again. A+ hire. Excited for spring time at The Rock.

Don’t like the hire. Little like Mike Baker in 06. That didn’t work out. Neither will this. It’s sad that Wests season is over before it even got started
