just a heads up to the HS coach's :
Please be aware of the ten day maximum summer contact period : I was told a contact day is described as when any coach ( head or assit) attends a practice or a summer game where the team consist of more than 4 players from your school. AND if you have 3 coach's present at one game it counts as 3 contact days. you only have ten days total
Dont get me wrong I think the rule is nearly total BS but had a personal friend who coach's had a a monetary fine placed on his HS and was suspended for a length of time because some one turned him in. Dont want to see anyone get burned by what should be a great chance to get some work in. thanks MD

Sorry Dan, but whomever told you that is incorrect. It's ten DAYS...Doesnt matter if there's several coaches or just one. It is the days.

Roxanne at OHSAA agreed with WSP , more than one coach doesn't count as two contact days when two coach's are present at one game. --- my lawyer /coach friend said " this isnt the first time Roxanne and I have disagreed and I've had other board members of OHSAA say the opposite " anyway , I wish we all could help the kids as much as the kids wanted without worrying any at all with the OHSAA . see ya out there MD
