I knew East was going to be in it this year. It will be interesting in seeing how they match up with Wellston and Fairland.

yes, Symmes Valley has around a total of 5 total fields including the high school baseball field. They also use these fields for little league at Symmes Valley.

It's a showcase. The games scheduled are the games played. Always some of the top competition in the state.

Does anybody else find it interesting that Clay was invited last year but not this year?

I may be wrong on this but the story going around on this was Clay backed out at the last minute last year.I overheard one of Clays players saying that since they had games with some of same teams the next week, they didn't want those teams to be able to scout them. If this was the case it would not be surprising that they are missing from this years event.

:122249 Rumors...rumors...rumors...Clay isn't playing in the tournament simply because they did not want to...they've gone a different direction with scheduling...the tournament in Symmes Valley is not an invitation only...you call to request to play...as I hear it, several teams did not play in the tournament last year due to the snow

Without making a big fuss over it.....from what I have heard not everybody would agree with this statement at all. I have heard several complaints from several schools...but this was from a few years ago. Things do change! So maybe they have. But like it is with anything, I am sure different people/teams had different experiences with this tournament than others.
