Will the foul poles be fair or foul in Frenchtown?

In a truly unbelievable event
The foul ball polls in Frenchtown are foul just like in the Township!

For those not in on this unbearable loop.....
Last season out on a road called 772 (Better known as the Appalachian  Autobahn)
Maddy Trainer crushes a shot down the left field line precisely striking the foul poll.
Blue calls it a foul ball.

And tonight at the Unioto Softball Complex the same exact scenario played out only slightly different.  Maddy crushed another one down the left field line only this time
The ball was about 10 to 15 feet above the foul poll. Blue calls it foul again!  I will cut tonight's blue some slack, this ball didn't actually hit the poll it went over top of it so some judgment came into play.
And he did call a good game behind the plate tonight.
Just what are the odds of this happening two years in row with the same two teams the same batter and pitcher even tonight's field blue was behind the plate last year at the Township when Maddy struck the foul poll.

Great game tonight
Alayna pitched a great game for Huntington, as did Unioto's Freshman Brooke Blevins

Should have been but that was not the case.

Sometimes you get the calls sometimes you don't.

I think the reasoning was something along the lines of:
"It hit the foul side of the Pole"

Of course dad always taught me you can't reason with the unreasonable.......

Judge Judy remarks:

"Unioto is a joke. I think they will be 4th. Geno is the best pitcher in southern ohio for sure. Wright maybe in the top 3. Pitching will win games, and unioto doesnt have it. Piketon will place 3rd ZT will be 1st. and Westfall will be 2nd hands down."

"Unioto fans just wait till MENO GENO rocks your world!! GO TRACE"

I'm wondering what happen to Judge Judy? lol Gone quite? Must have a mouth full of "foot"

1st off congratulations to the SVC followers on SoutheasternOhioPreps.
Today is the 1st day the "2013 SVC thread" became the most viewed softball thread on the front page.
As of this post we are at 2158 views while the SOC 2 thread is a close second at 2153.

A sure sign that softball interest is on the rise in the SVC.

2ndly
Sharpie:
We are not half way through the league yet, While my Sherman's are on track to prove me correct as usual I'm not ready to serve any crow yet. In fact the oven is not even turned on. Zane Trace, Westfall, Huntington, Piketon & Unioto are all still in the hunt and any of the above could finish 1 through 5.
Like wise having not turned on the oven neither have I rough drafted my SEOPS resignation letter. We will know much more about my posting fate after this weeks match-ups, either Judge Judy will return rightfully staking a Claim of the Title or the X will once again
be proven unfazed by all challengers.

I'm hearing great things about your young lady Cavs, the team and the program.
Congratulations on the fine season and keep representing Chillicothe and Ross County Pride.

One thing's for sure Piketon's Adrien Dunn is the most underrated player in the SVC! Batting .650 on the season, with only 1 strikeout, and dangerous on the base path! She has either scored or drove in almost all of Piketon's runs! and as far as I'm concerned is one of the best, if not the best pitcher in the SVC. Throws good heat, with a killer change up & drop with a rise & screw that are continuing to improve! She has a bright future, Definitely an all around athlete & one to watch out for! Piketon may surprise us all in the end!

Hit the foul side of the foul pole! lol I am sure they are sticking to that story.

Big game today in Frenchtowne, Piketon is playing pretty well right now!

Yes it is.
While some have overlooked the Streaks
I have always included Piketon
when talking about the best the SVC has to offer.
This week will go along way in determining the
Sherman's Title defense chances
and my fate as a member of this forum.

On the SVC schedule this week Unioto Faces:
@Southeastern,
Piketon home,
 @ Zane Trace
and
Westfall home.

4-0 is what I X-pect from my Tanks.

The Sherman's could go 3-1 and still be in OK shape
as far as defending my honor and league title hopes go.

2-2 would make things salty
for my posting future and SVC title dreams.

1-3 and the X will be falling on his sword.

1 game at a time, but this looks to be the week that defines our season.

Of all the things I do know
the status of the SVCs reserve schedule is not one.

Why would SE not play at ZT today?
I'm no civil engineer but it looks to me Traces Diamond
would be one of the fastest draining diamonds around.
So it can't be because it's too wet.

Isn't there a rule in the SVC
that two contiguous school districts
must make up postponed or delayed softball games
on the first open week night by both schools?

No doubt the game of the nite is between ZT and The U.
This game will go along way in determining how the league shakes out this season.
If you are planning on watching an SVC Softball game this year this is the one catch.

Do we have official word yet as to what games will be played tonight?

I was under the impression that SE would be at ZT tonight to make up their
Game from last week.

I don't see how Unioto could be at ZT as well if this is the case.

I fully understand why and the need to make up the SE/ZT game first it would just be nice to know for sure before I make the Drive out 180 to Kinnikinnick
