I watched it all and thought the baseball would be harder. Should the move the pitchers mound back a foot, or two in softball.

YES I did watch it...and not kidding, I thought it was a neat video and a very cool experiment. I have always thought that a softball was harder to hit, but before watching this I never thought it was because of the reaction time (although I had heard others say it was less than in baseball)...I always thought it was because a softball naturally rises or I guess I should say because the hitter sees it coming from the bottom then upward which seems harder to hit then a baseball coming from the top and downward.


But yeah this was a cool video to watch...very interesting.

Umm..I don't think that would ever happen. I mean, maybe, but a softball is bigger than a baseball, although a baseball may weigh more. Also look at it as this: girls are not as strong as boys, not everything has to be the same and equal as in the distance from mound to plate.
