All-SOC is selected by the team's coach. The number of selections is determined by the team's finish in the league. All-District is voted on by all the coach's in the district. The players are ranked by the most votes on down. The top vote getters become All-Ohio.

A team could possibly finish toward the bottom of the SOC and have only one selection for the All-SOC team but get multiple numbers on the District team. Also, only those schools willing to pay to be a member of the district and willing to attend two meetings are allowed to vote - so not all schools are considered.
