Play Ball! Jackson to play on new field Monday vs. V.C.

Post by old-timer »

Has been a long, difficult 9 months, but I for one am ready for the season to begin. The Ironladies will play on Jackson High School soil for the first time in school history. This is a time in which many parents & past players have been waiting to see. Thanks goes to many of the community volunteers, parents, school board members, and administration to help this project being approved & completed to where the surface can be played on this season. The team has worked very hard andare excited to represent ALL past Ironladies when they take the field for the 1st time. Jackson opens against Vinton County on Monday March 29th @ 5:00. It time to start a new chapter in Ironladies Softball.

Hope the field is something the community of Jackson feels proud of and can express it by showing up to the games & being supportive of the team that will be taking the field. Should be exciting to watch!!!

Best of luck Ironladies!!!

The Ironladies will have to wait at least one more day to open their new field.

Today's game with Vinton County is postponed due to the rain.

Parking is free.

I think they may have charged $5 a pop.
