Freshman Kaylee Koker was mighty impressive again, pitching a 2 hit shutout with 6 strikeouts.
Whitney Daugherty had the game winning hit with a 2 RBI single in the second inning

Wellston Rockets lost to Alexander 2-0. Wellston couldn't adjust to the slower pitching of Alex. and had only two hits.

blue andgoldfan, how about alittle credit the the Alexander defense rather than dogging their pitcher. The Spartan defense made some plays that you would have had to see to believe. Spartan freshman Kaylee Koker is now 2-0 with two shutouts. Pretty good start to her high school career.

I wasn't dogging the pitcher, just stating a fact. Athens and Rockill had pretty fast pitchers and we got a lot of hits of of them.
