Thanks for the schedule. Hope I get to make it this year. Always enjoyed the Valley of Thunder weekends. Hope we get dry warm weather.

Maybe Wheelersburg will hit another foul ball into the pot of beans this year. Some good times.

Just wanted to remind everyone that the Valley Of Thunder Softball Tournament is out at Symmes Valley this weekend. If you dont have other plans you are invited out to watch what we hope will be some great softball games. Should be loads of talent there and hopefully great weather. Bring your chairs and enjoy the day. Games start on Friday afternoon and run through Saturday evening. If you have never been to Symmes Valley before just come to Ironton on US 52 and take the St. Rt. 141 exit. Come out 141 approximately 15 miles. The fields are on the left hand side of 141 with plenty of parking.

Alexander lost their first game in a heart breaker 6-5 to the host team symmes valley, giving up 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th and 1 in the bottom of the 8th. They bounced back in the second game to defeat Portsmouth Notre Dame 4-1.

You have to come and watch Lakota East Play softball
They have GOT IT
PITCHING is outrageous
Number 11 was pitching against SV
She has a wicked riser and she blasted
one home run against us yesterday and one in another game.

Athens beat Notre Dame in a very good game 12-10. Both teams hit the ball really well. Couple of Homeruns for Athens and one from Notre Dame. The Home plate Umpire on the Other hand was not so great, BE FAIR!!!! Its really sad that these girls come out here and work their butts off and have an umpire not call a consistent ball game. It was alittle obvious who was supposed to win??????????

I was told that Wheelersburg and Lakota East was 0-0 when it was suspended for rain/darkness about the third inning.

Anyone hear the Wheelersburg/Ashland score?

I think 4-3
Ashland pulls this one out.

The Wheelersburg -Lakota East was about five innings I believe before all the games
were called .
Electric went out ---due to an accident down toward the Proctorville area
No electric, no lights.....
Rain really wasnt that bad nor that heavy.

SV finishes the tournament with one loss to Lakota East.
They win against Athens, Alexander, South Webster.
Not to bad.....
