Jackson...team to beat. Several very good softball players and good coach. I imagine they’ll roll once again.

I hear Jackson’s coach has stepped down? If so who will be leading Jackson’s program this year?

His name is Mack Thompson. He’s a 1993 grad of Jackson. Special Ed teacher.....a real good guy. He was an all-league 1B back in the day. I believe he was the JV coach last year. He doesn’t have a lot of softball under his belt but he’ll be a passionate and invested coach. Jackson still has Taylor Evans on the mound and some good players around her. I imagine they’ll compete for the FAC title again.

First scrimmage next weekend. Looking forward to hearing everybody's rankings for the season.
