By the end of the season burgs freshman pitcher will have thrown a ton of innings for a young kid. Asking a lot of the young lady.

Burg 14 SW 10
Burg was up 9-0 and seemed to fall apart after the injury. Webster did a good job tonight. I don’t think you get jumped on for stating a fact. You’re right, lots of errors.. infield and outfield.. It’s just that you seem to have some beef with who’s on the field or something or act as if they’re not capable of making plays. Which we all know they are.. Sometimes a game like this is a good learning experience.

Not at all, just stating my opinion and you took it personal. You read something into it that I never implied. You’re a parent, I get it, no big deal

Burg has a good team. I agree they committed errors, but it's a good learning experience. Give them props, but I have to give props to SW too. They battled back. They have a good team as well and they're also pretty young. They can make plays and can hit the ball. Looking forward to their second meeting. I think this game will help both teams make improvements.

Of course the word is out, the Burg can play like a normal high school softball team. Walks, bad throws, dropped fly balls, failure to hit cut off players, poor hitting with runners on base. Yes folks it happens, will they learn from it? Webster absolutely believes they can take the Burg down next time. Friend who goes to all the games says Webster best team Burg has played so far.

Burg has young players and they should be getting ready for the ladies or players that won the Little league Wort Series! Maybe freshmen’s now? I know the young lady that pitched is going to be tough.

They should have been playing the last 4-5 years
Not sure why you would want to play the second best team in the SOC 1 over the last five years and not the best team. Over the last five years Clay has 4 SOC1 Championships and Symmes Valley and Notre Dame tied with one championship each.
I’ve been told the clay burg thing won’t happen because of ruby clay connection
Don’t read anything bad into it, it’s nothing like a former burg basketball coach that stepped down rather than have to play the burg when his school moved up to SOC2
Why would burg play down? Burg is too good for that! Burg plays league and plays up. That’s my answer to as why they don’t play the 4 time SOC I champs. Is that what you think also?

School size means playing down?

I mean yea kind of. Burg just played a school about 4x their size and I would consider that as “playing up”...

That's not logical. It don't matter how big the school is !!!!
There are several really small schools, but have elite teams that time and time again wins championships.
With more student-athletes attending school makes for more opportunity like full JV Rosters, Freshman rosters.
Talent comes from players and coaches, not the size of the school, and if anyone tells you different. THEY'RE DEAD WRONG

Ruby Clay thing. Why would that matter. Minford Golf coach also assistant coaches Oak Hill girls basketball. We still play each other.
