POY awards in conference are stupid anyway...ask any player what they would rather have: 1. a POY award. (or) 2. a league title
I guarantee 99.994% will give you the same answer. POY is an adult bragging right award.
Another thought, if you have to have a POY award, just can't live without it...then have the players vote on it; I bet they would get it right....

I congratulate, All the girls that won awards this year. You were picked for hard work and improvement and your performance on the field. Don’t let all these people take away from your achievements. Just because of who they thought should of won shouldn’t deter from your accomplishments. Even thou I just read where a team now says for next three years they will be state champs. I think it’s a sad commentary that grownups get on here and say the young lady’s that won these awards,really shouldn’t have.instead of saying Congrats on a great season and keep working hard, you work just as hard as anyone on any team.it’s there opinions and it seems like some people have hurt feelings, get over it. Why are they stupid, tell the girls that won these awards they are stupid.

Nice article from local sportswriters listing 30 players from the Southeast District regardless of division that they listed on the SOSA All area team. Article is here
