Congratulations to the Wellston Golden Rockets in defeating the Athens Bulldogs 3-2 in a great game. The first time they played the Rockets lost 2-0. They are now tied for the league lead. It is going to be a tight race.

Wellston survived a close game with Alexander. Athens rebounded with a 14-2 win over Meigs. Both teams tied for league lead 8-1.

Athens 8 River Valley 4. Bulldogs and Rockets are both 9-1 in the TVC.

Wellston plays Meigs Wednesday. VC won by a stellar pitching performance and strong team back up over Athens 6-1. If Wellston beats Meigs they will defend their crown. If they lose will share the TVC championship with Athens.

Congratulations to the Wellston Golden Rockets TVC Champions.
They defend their crown winning 22 of their last TVC 24 games. They graduate one senior. Congratulations to the Bulldogs on a good season as well. Rockets defeat Meigs to win the TVC crown.
