Gallipolis has never won a district title. Blue Devils came close in 1950, and again the the late 1980s or early 1990s by getting to the district finals. Ironton and Washington CH were the culprits.

You can tell how wide open this district was by having a 5 and 7 seed win district titles. Congrats to Fairfield Union and Gallia Academy on great years and good luck to Miami Trace and Unioto next week in Zanesville.
