I really enjoy watching the Reds improve. It will be interesting to see what they do with Harvey and Iglesias at the trade deadline.

Same here! I think they can get a couple mid-level prospects for Harvey, he's really improved since joining the Reds. I'm not sure if they'll trade Igelsias or not. He's still young, and I think the Reds are a year or two away.danicalifornia wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 11:02 pm I really enjoy watching the Reds improve. I could also see them dishing out Jared Hughes. I heard something about them shopping Hamilton around again, so who knows.

Re: 2018 REDS !
What a comeback! Down 4-0 going into the 9th, come back and score 7 in the 9th to win 7-4.
Re: 2018 REDS !
What an amazing game that was with storylines galore! Trevor Bauer was absolutely killing the Reds after 8 innings with a comfortable 4-0 lead going to the 9th, then comes the Tribe bullpen which has been a sore spot all year for the Indians. The Tribe had them down to the last strike two different times but the Reds manage to get 7 runs to win going away. Francona said in his postgame press conference when he went out to get Cody Allen out of the game with Votto coming up he told pitching coach Carl Willis he wanted OP meaning left hander Oliver Perez, instead Willis thought he said OT meaning right hander Dan Otero lol. Imagine the horror Francona was thinking with the right hander coming through the gate to face the left handed superstar Votto with the bases loaded . This was a game for the ages!

I am sure Bauer was thinking that too! I bet he was not a happy camper with his fiery temperament.

I just don’t know how that happens lol Willis should have asked for clarification, because that pitching change wouldn’t have made sense at all. But, why wouldn’t Tito have just said Perez or Oliver? OP and OT are entirely too close of nicknames for relievers.cbolt wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 1:28 am What an amazing game that was with storylines galore! Great comeback by the Reds in that game no matter what happened though.

Harvey has came along way !Reds and Homer will parts ways ! Sign Harvey ? You need starting pitching.
Re: 2018 REDS !
To Francona's credit he did accept full responsibility and didn't throw Willis under the bus and I bet he won't use initials again lol. I agree Willis should have followed up on that. If a middle of the road right handed reliever going up against one of the greatest left handed hitters in the game doesn't raise red flags I don't know what will.danicalifornia wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 5:24 pmI just don’t know how that happens lol Willis should have asked for clarification, because that pitching change wouldn’t have made sense at all. Two solid wins to open up the series against the Cards! Super impressed with Peraza over the last month or so.
Re: 2018 REDS !
I do not know about .500, but the improvement in team play is apparent under the new coaching regime. The Reds actually appear now to enjoy playing the game of baseball.
I am a harsh critic of Reds ownership and front office and I am certain they will sabotage the 2018 team resurgence through some bone headed player move.
