First game up tomorrow. Big Ten vs. SEC. I don't think this is a good matchup for Iowa, but I haven't had a good season guessing bowl games lol. Mississippi State scoring 31 points per game and only giving up 12! Iowa scoring 39 per game and only giving up 17! Two good defenses in this one.

With all the big games going on today, this one might get lost in the shuffle of everything.
But, Iowa is leading this game 17-6 at halftime.

Good goal line stand from Iowa. Mississippi State had a first down from the 1, and were held to a field goal. Iowa holds a 24-22 lead with 12:04 left.

Mississippi State literally drops a TD pass, and it goes right into the hands of Iowa. Now they are driving.

Pretty good defensive game. A lot of clock mismanagement by both teams but Iowa eeks it out and Ferentz has his usual 8-5 or 9-4 season for $6 million a year and Iowa fans are happy.

Unless you're one of the blue bloods, consistency is hard to find in college football.FANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Tue Jan 01, 2019 3:28 pm Pretty good defensive game. It's hard for a coach to keep a job at a tough place to recruit like Iowa. He does it every year with 3 and 4 stars.Chieftain2009 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 01, 2019 3:50 pmUnless you're one of the blue bloods, consistency is hard to find in college football.FANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Tue Jan 01, 2019 3:28 pm Pretty good defensive game. To think he has been there 20 years is amazing.
