I agree more than the mandated down time by OHSAA is a recipe for failure

When I was working I gave everyone the week of July 4th off . It paid off with everyone refreshed and ready to go back to work with a better attitude. Families should have time together because these kids grow up way to fast.

I wouldn't say that my friend Baldeagle. Plenty of fans/spectators that knows football and has plenty of common sense to see what's happening in front of them. Unprepared players, players out of place, repeated mistakes, bad decision making, poor tackling skills, lacking of discipline, etc etc. I could go on, but i disagree with you that fans don't have knowledge. And don't forget, there are also old coaches in the stands with years of experience.

I'll have to agree with ya about that, 9.5. Maybe Duck Dynasty will have them looking and playing like a Div 2 team again before long.

Sounds like in Baldeagles world the fans in stadiums are nothing more than clueless/lifeless Mannequins, or a big crowd of ice age Neanderthals.

I would tread lightly kicking the chiefs while down. They won’t be there forever. It will eventually get to where it once was.

7 on 7 with Gallipolis and Warren this morning.

Heard it was a productive day for all three teams.

I hope Logan football is in for a resurgence. Time will tell. I recall a time when play on the field was a personal pride thing. Games were won in February when the weight room was the only avenue to be better than what you were before. The demise of the SEOAL is one thing. The demise of pride is quite another. That is the one thing I hope Coach Eddy brings to the program. Winning doesn't happen, it is forged in the weight room, it is determined in the heat of camp, it is defined in the breast of those that will wear that uniform on the field but more importantly will wear it for the rest of their lives. It is in the pride of doing your best, not for yourself but for the guys to the right and left of you. It's a pride that can't be defined but is felt. Losing when giving your best is no failure but winning when no one else thinks you can is the precious feeling you can carry the rest of your life into other endeavors. Dare to achieve!

Any word on how Warren looked...skill positions may be fine in these 7v7's.

I have been hoping for them to snap out of it for awhile now. Hope the hibernation don't last much longer. :? The big bear needs an alarm clock thrown into his den. An alarm clock that is as loud as a tornado siren would be good.
