I hate rooting for Wellston, BUT, I’d love to see a week 10 championship game between VC and the Rockets! It’s been a minute!

1999 to be exact. 26-14 Vikings at VC. VC's last league title.

I just dug out all my old VHS tapes in the basement. I have a bunch of Gridiron Glory episodes and I saw highlights from that game. I don't remember ever seeing a game at the old field in McArthur but it was cool to see it on there.

I definitely remember watching Brad Young though

Brad Young was the best little league baseball player I have ever seen. He was hitting close to 75. I believe in jr high he ran track and broke the school record in all 9 individual events.

I haven't seen this much excitement around Wellston , other than when they play the Ironmen and the Vikings. Should be a great crowd at CH Jones field tonight. Lets hope to see a great ballgame, and also hope both teams have an injury free game.

Hall Famer from wellston Lawrence Ousley in 1993 Gave the hardest hit still this day that maybe the hardest high school football hit I ever saw. He was playing Safety and when he came up and hit Kaheem Maxwwll from Athens Mr Maxwell went lights limp! And Mr maxwell was a d-1 (FBS) athlete. When Ousley hit his mark silence hit the stadium
