Games at Ridgewood are very fun to watch. Energetic fan base, loud music, nice facilities. I'm guessing with the game being on Saturday there will be many people from both schools tailgating on the school grounds in the field behind the stadium and behind the baseball field. Any Portsmouth fans looking for a bite to eat in W.L., options are pretty limited but I would recommend Amicis Pizza just across the Railroad tracks. Safe travels to all Portsmouth faithful making the trek. I would be lying if I said I wasn't glad that Ridgewood finally doesn't have to make that long trip to SEO week 11. All bets are off come week 11

If they need any reminding. LOL Those Generals may have heard of him but they are getting ready to have a first row seat to the back of his jersey. Let's Go Trojans!!!
Haven’t seen him play but also think you haven’t seen a dline like ours. It’ll be an awesome night!
Portsmouth and Burg played a toughest defense I’ve ever saw last two years in Madison. Ironton is pretty good too

What does ridgewood line go across the offense and defense line? Height and weight. I keep hearing about how big they are.

Ridgewood s Dline is strength of their defense. They are very solid unit. The 2 Tackles Juniors and are twins. They are 6’1 one 295 other 275. Very strong and move well for their size. 1D End is a junior 6’0 225 plays physical and has a little nasty to him, other is a Sr 5’11 195 also their Running Back. Pretty athletic and good speed.

Defense gave up less than 100 yards rushing to Indian Valley. They are a very physical power running team. The Wood rotates a lot of different players on the O Line. They are pretty deep with good size. Don't know the exact sizes but definitely above average size lines for D5.

Thank you! All juniors going to be hell on wheels next season after what they have done this season!! Portsmouth doesn’t play the schedule they used too then got in a league OVC with Ironton went in about same time. It’s more of a basketball conference but still brings out some talented teams. Portsmouth usually has big lines but not this year. They lost their big boys last year. I believe only the center returns. Ironton is a huge team with big backs with many D-I players. I hope this is a good game for those going up and the home team.

I watched Indian valley play ridgewood they didn’t tackle very well or look very physical but maybe that had something to do with ridgewood. Also watched the Garaway game they were small and not very physical from what I saw but teams get better every week I guess especially at this point of the season

My comments were directed probably to Portsmouth fans counting their team out before the game is even played
I just wish Irontown would play Logan again. But they're part of the group that cut-n-ran from the Chiefs. :o

I seriously doubt ironton ever ran from the chiefs. I'm pretty sure ironton has the better record in that series. It is always an enjoyable experience watching football at Logan. Hopefully I get the opportunity to watch a playoff game there this season.

Ironton never ran from anybody, lol. They’re in a league and 3 extra games and plenty of talent teams around Ironton not to drive hour or 2 to play games these days. Logan always played little school being a D-II school, never understood that, but when they got to week 11 playing schools their size got sent to basketball. Also times has changed and Ironton or Portsmouth are small DV schools now!

Drew Pasteur has this game at 94% Ridgewood. That makes it 3rd of 4 in region 19 , 14th out of 16 in d5 and tied for 91st out of 112 in competitive balance. Needless to say we are coming in as more than slight underdogs. For the gamblers in the house, the line is 25 from pasteur. Calpreps says Ridgewood 48-13.
