Opening the season against the some solid competition, the Buckeyes traveled to College Station to have a 2-day duel meet against #11 Texas A&M. It was a battle that the Aggies eventually won in a tight one, 153-147.
OSU won races in the following events: 1000 Free (Carson Burt), 200 Free (Paul DeLakis), 200 Fly (Alex Dillmann), 50 Free (Cameron Craig), 1-meter Dive (Lyle Yost), and 500 Free (Paul DeLakis).
Next up, Ohio State will head to State College, PA to have two duel meets against Virginia Tech and Penn State on November 1st and 2nd.

The Buckeyes won one and lost one over the weekend in their 2 day double duel in State College, PA on the campus of Penn State. OSU fell to #24 Virginia Tech by a score of 185-168. Then, competing against host and receiving votes Penn State, the Buckeyes picked up a 193.5-158.5 conference victory.
OSU won races in the following events: 100 Breast (Jason Matthews), 3-meter Diving (Jacob Fielding), and the 400 Free Relay.
Next up, Ohio State will return to the pool next weekend, as they host a double duel against Kenyon and Akron.

The Akron men's swimmers didn't make the trip to Columbus, but the men from Kenyon did make that street. The Buckeyes dominated Kenyon (the 2nd ranked team in D3) by a final score of 207-87. OSU picked up 15 victories on the men's side.

Prepping for their first invitational meet of the season, the Buckeyes competed against Denison, the 2nd best D3 team in the nation, and pulled out a 215-80.5 victory. OSU won 16 out of 16 events in the meet, which includes all 14 swim events, and both of the diving events.
Next up, Ohio State will host the Ohio State Invitational next Thursday through Saturday.

Facing some solid competition, the Buckeyes hosted their own fall invite, and came away with a first place finish out of 5 teams. OSU tallied 2,436.5 points, followed by Notre Dame (2,346), Yale (2,060.5), Virginia Tech (1,793.5) and Kentucky (1,768.5).
OSU earned victories in the following events over the 3 day meet: 100 Butterfly (Cameron Craig), 100 Breast (Jason Matthews), 100 Free (Cameron Craig), 200 Back (Thomas Watkins), 200 Breast (Jason Matthews), 1-meter Dive (Jacob Fielding), 3-meter Dive (Jacob Fielding), Platform Dive (Jacob Siler), 200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay.
Ohio State will send individuals to the AT&T Winter Nationals in Atlanta, GA, December 4-7. Then team competition will kick back up on January 3 with a duel against Kentucky.

The 16th ranked Buckeyes took on their arch Rival, #3 Michigan, on senior day in Columbus on Saturday. Ultimately OSU fell to the Wolverines by a final score of 190-110.
OSU won the following races: 200 Back (Thomas Watkins), 500 Free (Paul Sampson), 1-meter dive (Lyle Yost), 3-meter dive (Jason Canova).

The Buckeyes wrapped up their weekend at the Shamrock Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, finishing in 3rd out of 4 teams with a total of 828 points. The Irish won the meet with 1,278 points, followed by Iowa with 917 points. Missouri State rounded out the field with 450 points. OSU earned victories in the following events:
50 Free (Sam Andreis), 1-meter dive (Joseph Canova), and 3-meter dive (Jacob Siler).
Next up, Ohio State competes in their final duel of the season when they travel to Pittsburgh next Friday.

Although no team scores were kept for their dual yesterday at Pittsburgh, the Buckeyes would have posted a team score victory if that was the case. Both teams competed on both the short-course (yards) and the long-course (meters), as well as diving (which the Buckeyes dominated). Individual event victories included:

OSU kicked off their week at the Big Ten Championships, hosted by Indiana on Wednesday. Not only did they start the meet on Wednesday, but they started on a strong note. The following were the Buckeyes finishers on the day that scored points (only two events competed on day one):

With the Men's Big Ten Championships wrapping up on Saturday, the Buckeyes again performed at a high level, finishing in second place with 1,329 points. That was just ahead of third place and host Indiana with 1,321.5. Michigan ultimately won the conference title with a total of 1,548 points.
