Joe Burrow- Athens, OSU, LSU, WHO DEY!

Some players are not good practice player, but given a fair shake can prove you wrong. Don't know if this was Joe's case. Whenever I saw him at OSU he didn't have the time to show his talent. Joe seem like a guy that needs pressure and practice wasn't doing it for him. I don't think mop ups was enough pressure for him either. When I watched LSU, Joe was looking over the defense as soon as he left the huddle. If the right team and coach get him he will be a star in the pros.

Joe is a class act. He thanked all of his coaches, OSU and LSU. He wasn't ready to play at OSU out of high school and there is no shame in that, very few are, and I am sure he didn't like being low on the depth chart. However, he put in his work and did his time and improved. That in it's self shows his character. Tom Brady wasn't great from the get go but he did what he had to do to improve himself. Joe did what was best for Joe and I can't blame him. They have been saying for several years, even when Les Miles was the coach at LSU, they were one player, that being a QB, away from being a great team. Joe was that one player. I feel bad for next year's LSU QB, huge shoes to fill.

I don't care where Joe plays next year, yes I do, not Cincy, because I have very little faith that the Bungals management will get good professional players around him. But even if he goes to Cincy, I will be rooting for Joe and the Bengals.

Urbans biggest miss in an outstanding career. Burrow is/was hands down the best QB in the room. With Ryan Day and the talent on the Buckeye roster I believe Ohio state wins 1 for sure , maybe 2 national titles .

I always liked that week 4 win over Jackson in 2012. Athens couldn't catch the ball and Jackson was controlling the clock. Burrow took off running and scored 15 unanswered points to win. That's when I knew he was something different

It will be pretty neat that the new Cincinnati Bengals QB will be a Southern Ohio kid..... Hopefully the Bengals will have an improved line next year which will help Burrow adapt more comfortably in the league.

Congratulations Joe Burrow on a fantastic season as an LSU Tiger. Winning the National Championship and a Heisman Trophy all in one season is unbelievable.

In a day where everybody wants to talk about how great they are, and how great their respective school is, and all the offers they get, etc.

Athens and Joe did it the right way. They went to the State Finals....played a fantastic game...and then cane back home and went about their business. Multiple players went Division 1...4 off that particular team...2 to the Big Ten. They were humble....and had class.

Joe you didn't forget to be real....as a Heisman winner you thanked your Buckeye family and southeast Ohio. You didn't try to be something you weren't, you just wanted to represent ALL of US the very best you could. You used your platform to help others...not yourself. Again, in a me first society, that is rare.

Joe...please keep doing the same. Be humble. Be classy. Be yourself. Keep being the Joe Burrow that didn't need for attention, but rather let his play speak for itself. Athens and ALL of your southeast Ohio fans are proud.

The picks. Look at the dynasty the cowboys built the once time the Vikings gave their entire draft for Herschel Walker. Same thing with what the Saints gave up for Ricky Williams.

Yeah, but Walker and Williams were running backs. Hard to build a franchise around a RB bc the shelf life isn't long. A QB can be 15 years of not having to worry about who you'll line up under center. Burrow is the face the Bengals franchise needs. You know he's not gonna mess up and get in trouble with the law. He's hard working and a natural leader. I think I take Burrow.
