Kicking off their 2020 campaign, the Buckeyes hosted a tri-meet against some stout competition that included #1 Oklahoma and #14 Arizona State. OSU posted a team score of 397.600, to beat out Arizona State, who scored 380.700. All the while, Oklahoma ran away from the competition to post a winning score of 412.200.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to Penn State next weekend.

The Buckeyes competed in their first road competition of the season on Saturday, when they traveled to #8 Penn State, and ultimately were edged out 405.900 to 405.000. OSU won events in the floor, vault and high bar. But in the pommel horse, rings, and parallel bars, PSU took wins and edged out OSU.

Next up, Ohio State will host rival Michigan next Saturday.

In what was a really good match, the 5th ranked Buckeyes fell to #6 Michigan 409.600 to 408.500 in Columbus on Saturday. The Buckeyes finished ahead of the Wolverines in team scores from the floor and vault, but Michigan was able to take victories in the other events.

Next up, Ohio State heads to a quad meet next Saturday in Phoenix, where they'll compete against Arizona State, California and Stanford.

As expected, the Buckeyes finished in 2nd place out of 4 teams at the "Southwest Cup" in Phoenix, where they competed against #2 Stanford, #11 California, and host #12 Arizona State. Stanford crushed the field with a score of 420.400, but the Buckeyes finished after them with a score of 408.150 (which should improve their national ranking). Cal placed third with a 396.400, and finally Arizona State finished 4th with a 388.950.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to the Winter Cup in Las Vegas the 21st through the 23rd.

Hosting #7 Navy on Saturday, the 5th ranked Buckeyes were hunting a win and a solid score, they got both. Not only did they post a top 10 victory, but they also score a season high, in their 408.900 - 397.200 victory.

Next up, Ohio State will host a tri against Iowa and Northern Illinois next Saturday.

The Buckeyes picked up two nice top 25 victories, including a top 10 conference victory on Saturday in Columbus. OSU scored a team total of 407.650, which is under their season average, but good enough to pick up wins. #9 Iowa posted a score of 402.800, while #22 Northern Illinois posted a team score of 325.850.

Next up, Ohio State will compete in another tri-meet, when they travel to Minneapolis to compete against Minnesota and Nebraska next Friday.
