Devon was ineligible after Christmas that year. he missed most of the season.Raider6309 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 1:15 pm De’von sharp. He did about everything for Athens. Jimmy Burrow always said they had a full ride offer for him but he kept getting in trouble
Devon was probably one of our biggest athletes because we sucked for so long(90’s-00’s) before him and were good after him.

Yes. He forgot to show up to school after the football season ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Been fun to watch those two in the second half of the season

Man, he must really be injured to not make it back yet. Maybe if they win he'll make it back for the next round.

I was referring to the football playoff game. But, if you want to look at that game, I believe Burrow could have went D1 in basketball, as well, so that's one D1 kid.

If Logan Elm can continue to play like it has the last two games, I like Logan Elm in this one. Have to wonder a little bit about the shooting background and playing at the Convo for the first time with this group, however.

He’s suspended until the regional finals so his season is over unless Markin’s averages 30 at the Convohardhitter ll wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 2:26 pm Man, he must really be injured to not make it back yet. Maybe if they win he'll make it back for the next round.

I’m pretty sure Creighton and Greg McDermott were looking at Burrow after his freshman season
Re: No. 6 Athens (17-7) vs No. 7 Logan Elm (17-7)
He is serving an 11 game suspension. The first game he would be eligible would be the first game of regionals. The Logan Elm game will be game #10.Raider6309 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 2:33 pmHe’s suspended until the regional finals so his season is over unless Markin’s averages 30 at the Convohardhitter ll wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 2:26 pm Man, he must really be injured to not make it back yet. LE wins this I believe. I think Athens best Chance is mixing their zone and hoping LE is not hitting. LE 61-49.

Butcher had 26 points and 12 boards vs Marietta in our 2 point regular season loss and obviously suspended and DNP in our 26 point tournament win over Marietta.

Don't see Athens going very far---Logan Elm is coached so well...……---even though Athens has made it this far--been real lucky not to play any big boys!!!!

I just want to say that 8 days in between games is crazy! Basketball is not meant to play a week+ apart!
Re: No. 6 Athens (17-7) vs No. 7 Logan Elm (17-7)
I agree, unless your team has some kids that are injured, then you probably would like to have 2 weeks between games. I would think 4-5 days would be plenty, of course we are looking at it from a fans perspective also.
