I heard Belpre only had 14 players. They fitted 29. Some kids on vacation and heard one or 2 was working.

With 1st day and all these months off I hope all schools are practicing today. If kids are on vacation practice with the other one’s. A lot of work to do in 3 weeks or so.

I just hope that we can get the 10 games in and not have to settle for a 7 or 8 game regular season. However, I guess 7 games is better than none since I have washed my hands of college FB. PV numbers are down but I will take quality over quantity any day, the OL looks great and our RB is gonna break some ankles this season.

Portsmouth West had 48 show. Heard from a friend who’s son is on the team. Would be a big improvement from last years 34.

Coal Grove had 45/50 - pretty good for the smallest school in the OVC

Nelsonville-York was just over 50.
That's pretty usual for NY

The Facebook page actually said 70 and there are at least 2 D1 Athletes, one committed to Ohio State and another with 5 D1 offers.

I like it, a lot of people follow Irontons Facebook page on here not from Ironton.

Go Fighting Tigers......

Their Facebook is a little over the top but that’s ok. The tiger fans I’m sure enjoy it.

None of this means anything really. It’s just a game we like to watch.

Over the top is an understatement. It is entertaining though, in a cheesy sort of way!

That's great to hear. 48 is really good considering the very small junior class. If they stay with this pattern they should be back around 60 kids soon. Alot of hard workers and good athletes in that 48 also.

My favorite was when they shared the open enrollment link with the caption "If you want to be a fighting Tiger you have to have your paperwork in by this date"

That one got taken down quick though
