Holes in 2021 schedules

Post by BeatOfTheSEOhio »

I am trying to build a master schedule for area schools this year and there are a few programs I don't have their complete slates. Would anyone be able to provide some info for the following?

Miller (Wks. 1, 5)
Millersport (Wks. 1, 3-6, 9)
Harvest Prep (Wk. 3)
West Muskingum (Wk. 3)
Symmes Valley (Wk. 4)
Belpre (Wk. 2)
Federal Hocking (Wks. 1, 9)
River Valley (Wk. 10)
Manchester (Wks. 1, 5)
Latham Western (Wks. 1-5, 7-10)

I assume there may be a few games unfilled and teams will need to have byes.

Thanks in advance!

The "holes" in the Lancers schedule were created by people dodging them based on a lame asst excuse and a fake news rumor that they are going to 8 man. It'll all come out come playoff time though and pay backs are he11. :o

Latham Western is fielding a soccer team this fall. I would think that football is done out there. The enrollment can't support both football and soccer.

As I mentioned in the Federal Hocking schedule thread, Oct. 8th is now open for the Lancers.
And in the Manchester thread conflict with Hannan on dates.

A few more updates from Federal Hocking. Apparently they aren't playing any 8 man teams this season.

Week 7 = Millersport @ Federal Hocking
Week 10 = Federal Hocking @ Millersport (Saturday)

There's a lack of competition. Some teams like us are trying to beef our schedule up for the playoffs, but you wouldn't get that.

Beef your schedule up? Well, that's an easy fix. Jump up to the Ohio Division. No need to do anything else really. But we know you won't. Been ducking that one for years as you've been clamoring, "our schedule has never hurt us in the playoffs." I still think you're dodging us.

Maybe we will soon. Who knows? Be funny to see a Division VII school in the bigger division beating up on the Ohio schools with the exception of Athens (Trimble usually holds their against them in the jamboree) and Nelsonville-York. Trimble would fit in the Ohio division and play the smash mouth football were known for. You could join right now since you aren't in the Hocking division.

What are you waiting for? Your coach to grow the nads to pull the trigger? Just nut up and do it already.
