You are correct and so is yabbadabba. Burg has quite a few kids that live just outside the lines of burg. It balloons the CB.

But in my opinion, having kids attend your schools their entire school life isn’t the same as getting a bunch of kids during high school like the one from valley who’s a terrific talent to play on a team for two years. He’s a proven player. He absolutely increases ironton chances of winning

No, the CB number was put in to keep schools from loading up their rosters.

There is no argument.

It was. Burg turned the ball over four times. Twice offensively with them inside the 5. And once deep inside ironton territory. Two led to easy scores.

Ironton played the better game don’t get me wrong but burg didn’t help their cause at all.

Running clock, missed it by that much
It was. Burg had no room for error to beat a team with four new players to add to their roster and I’ve heard they aren’t done.

To me it’s like the kid who has the ability to buy the better video controller or upgrade to better equipment in GTA

Burg looks physically weak. Take away Ironton's penalties and mistakes and this game is a bloodbath.

I wish you would own up to ironton being much much better with the kids they brought in. You seem level headed. Lol

I believe the series went to 19-13 in favor of the Fighting Tigers after tonight’s game, correct me if I’m wrong.

Missing a kid that is a big player at TE/LB

This game was about how I saw it playing out.
Ironton lost their OSU kid and Burg is always good

Ironton just brought in more kids to replace Carrico. Have you not been reading through the post? Lol

When you don’t have much coming back on the line it makes it tough. Burg could easily be 1-4 to 0-5 the first 5 games. They have a tough schedule.

Take away burgs four turnovers and it’s not.

Don’t they have a kid that is 6’6” 315lbs that is eligible to start playing next week?

I have never said they wasn’t better with the players that have legally transferred in under OHSAA guidelines.

As well it should be. Turning point of the game. Burg could have went into halftime down 20-13 and getting the ball to start the 3rd. Instead they go down 27-6 and Burg was done then. You could see it when they walked off the field.

Also, IMO it was a dumb play call. You had 3 more downs to punch it in. Burg was moving the ball some on the ground. Like I said JMO.

Never said they weren’t legal. There’s always ways to navigate around things. But in my opinion, it weakens the sauce. The validity in the win doesn’t seem as strong.

How’d Athens do tonight?

Listen Athens has a heismsan winner
And burgs has a little league World Series winner
Ironton don’t have any of that. Lol

Let’s enjoy what we can brag on.

Own up to the fact that your team is physically weak.
