If they don’t stumble they’ll be fine until weeks 9 and 10. Good league this year

He did have 3 different TE in his career at MT. The Backs were also used a great deal as receivers in the offense. In 77 Scott started at safety I believe and got in usually mid in the third quarter to play QB. It was some run of talent with Art and Glenn Cobb to Ohio State and Scott Grooms to Norte Dame. Also Sam Grooms, Scott’s older brother went to Youngstown State and played center on DII National Championship team. I think there were 7 in Art’s class that played college football at some level. I was lucky enough to be around so much talent. As for me I was not one of the more talented guys but did play in 74 and 75. The best thing that happened to me for my future was getting to be involved in the program while in college from 76-79 teams. Coach Zechman went to Ohio State as an assistant coach in 79 and to Mew Mexico State as head coach in 83 where he took Coach James from his MT staff for he staff at NMSU. I did go out on my own in 1980 to venture deep into SE Ohio.
Good stuff. As mentioned. All this waaaayyyy before me. Ha but high school football has always been pretty special to us. I knew I had some pieces of the MT program history right or was in the ball park.
