Waverly 45
Much closer than many thought it would be. 1st period deficit ended up being the final deficit.
Wheelersburg lead 19-9 after one and 34-26 at the break.
The Pirates lead by 9 after 3 at 42-33, Tigers only scoring 9 and 7 in the 1st and 3rd.
Waverly had it cut to 5 at least 3 times in the 2nd half but with turnovers and poor shooting, just couldn't get any closer.
Unofficially (on radio heading home) the Tigers were 3-17 from 3 point land and those 3 were in the 2nd half.
The Tigers start 3 Freshman, including Sawyer Meyers who lead all scorers with 18 points.
The Pirates were lead by Devon Lattimore with 16 while Braylon Rucker added 14.

Cmon Dundas! Let’s do the right thing. Most of us in Vikingnation are tired of being the fall guy. Let’s make that call to Warren and welcome them home too. It’s the right thing to do!

Naaaahhh, Warren is an hour and ten minutes in a car from VC. Way too far away for a league game. Just ask Dundas, he’ll tell you.
