Hate that the season ended the way it did, but man what a fun season and the lady Trojans should be proud. This game was close in the 1st and 4th. 2nd and 3rd was all OG, especially the 2nd. Probably the worst I’ve seen Portsmouth play this year, but you have to credit OG defense for some of that. A lot of turnovers, missed layups and bad fouls didn’t help, led to them getting frustrated. I will say they didn’t give up, that 4th quarter was nice. The crazy thing is out of 9 girls the return 8, including all 5 starters, and I believe the bench should be way deeper next year. Would not be surprised at all to see them back in Dayton next year. Heads up ladies!

Great season! I told somebody last night that I thought this was the learning year to get ready to win it next year. After seeing how amped up they were early (leading to the fouls), I think they will learn from this in a major way.

These lady Trojans are young experienced and ready for next year‘s run with everybody back!! To be in final four with 2 freshmen, 2 sophomores and a junior starters. It’s hard to go down but a lot of other schools would love to be in their play!! Only beat by 7 as a young group of young ladies. You ladies worked from Biddy ball to get to the place you played tonight.
