Re: Playoff news and notes. Updated through State Final Pairings. Special Notes on Trimble v McComb
Brief interlude in the McComb v Trimble talk
Chagrin Falls Kenston is in The D3 State Championship v Kettering Alter.
Kenston is making its 3rd State Title Appearance
The kicking game has been the downfall or reason for both losses. 7-6 loss to CAPE in 1986. Blocked PAT with 39 seconds left. 3-0 loss to Clyde in 1995. 32 yard FG with less than 2:00 to play.
Therefore you know The Kicking Game is not overlooked by Kenston. Last year both kickers went down in Week 1. In the days before Week 2 the Trainer won the job. She has been their kicker ever since. This year Senior Anna Sanders is 59-65 on PAT and 6-6 on FGs.

It’s always good to make new friends on here. I want you all to know who read this thread that I saw this when I was brushing my teeth and I’m glad no one saw the outcome of that!
I changed the header on the 1st post a few times and yes a few weren’t the nicest.... enough shade is thrown in this board without me adding more.
Good Monday Morning!!
After I get back from Columbus there will be more info on Chargin Falls and possibly the DIX game as I haven’t touched that one yet!

You typed DVIII and D8 at least twice. So if you know it, why do you keep typing it.LucasDavenport wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 2:25 pmThanks. Any possibility the Johnstown vs. Wheelersburg game will make an attendance record for non state finals or does the semi-final not count in that? Anyone know what the final attendance was? For DV the biggest game was 7000 something.

This is what caused it. Somehow you missed my D9 reference as well. And the Chargin Falls instead of Chagrin Falls.
I will post more tonight. Mattash asked that my Trimble v McComb info be copied and pasted over to the Game thread so I did that last night. Also posted some Orrville info on that game thread for JHS as I have liked his posts on here.

I’m trying to find an answer to your question.55buckeyes98 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 12:24 am Any possibility the Johnstown vs. Wheelersburg game will make an attendance record for non state finals or does the semi-final not count in that? The finals record listed in the State Records Book for a stand-alone game is 9098 in 2000
for the Amanda Clearcreek v Bedford St Peter Chanel game. However, I don’t believe that’s been updated to reflect last year’s crowd of 9778 for Wheelersburg v Pemberville Eastwood.
