Ryan Roberton - Waverly

Post by hbk2016 »

Where will this young man be playing next year? He is a left handed gem.

At this point in time I do not believe he has had any offers. He has had some scouts watch but nothing else.

He is a great pitcher with so much potential. I think he would make a great pitcher for any team at the next level.

I know first hand that West Virginia State was interested in Mr. Robertson back in the fall. Not sure if they've contact him or not.

He can play college baseball somewhere, no doubt. Is this something he is wanting to do? I don't know him other that what I see on the field. He is a competitor with some talent along with that. I'm sure he will get a chance to play somewhere.

Have him contact Coach Bailey at WV State if he is interested. Like I said, I know his name was mentioned in conversation.

Does he have the grades and ACT score to be looked at as a D1 guy?

Have Mr. Roberston pick up the phone and call Coach Bailey or Coach Loyd. Tell them he is interested. Very good D2 program. They are 31-13 on the season and waiting for a possible at large bid to the D2 NCAA tournament.

Phone is on the website. http://www.wvsuyellowjackets.com

They would much rather talk to the player in person anyhow.
