Vinton County Cross Country 5K -- Saturday, July 12

The Vinton County Cross Country Teams will be hosting their 11th annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, July 12 at 9:00 A.M. Race day registration begins at 8:00 at the Old Vinton County High School on High Street in McArthur. The cost is $12.00 for adults 19 and older and only $10.00 for runners 18 and under. There aren't many races around at those prices. Shirts will be guaranteed to all who preregister by July 1 or the first 75 entrants after July 1. Entry forms can be downloaded from the cross country sports page on the Vinton County Local School's website at

i will be there again this year. good race but that hill is what kills you.

i will be there again this year. good race but that hill is what kills you.
does anyone know how many people are going to be running the race?
