i know they would. i heard some of the runners had a hard time staying on the right course. i guess Athens top runner lost the race bc he went the wrong way

Did something go wrong at the meet? I see the Marietta teams seemed farther back than usual and most of their top runners were not listed in the results. Did they hold them out of the meet or did something happen?
