Again, a lot came happen between now and May, but if we examine the returning girls from 2015 Div I District (Top Three Teams) not counting relays, Chillicothe has 72, Logan 58, and Athens 78. I suspect Athens will dominate relays again, but could be wrong. Anyway the District meet in Marietta this coming spring should be a very competitive meet.

Waverly girls will be way better than 17th. Add a couple of very very good freshman including another girl running a 1:00 400, a shot and discuss thrower. Also getting a couple of girls back healthy who were hurt all last year.

For the girls first weekend at South Point had unranked South Point over #19 Chesapeake. At The Chillicothe Relays had #8 Washington over #1 Chillicothe, #6 Zane Trace, #9 Fairland and #12 Westfall.

Early in the season relays won't tell you the results of a regular meet. Most relays are taking the top three and in conference meets only two count. The third person can make a lot of difference. Some teams can have early injuries from getting ready for the season and can be held out.

I will do a new top 25 after after the meets from April 1st.

At Vinton Cty tonight #7 Unioto got past #4 Athens And #5 Gallipolis

Looking at results it looked like Athens was short handed. Didn't see that with Gallipolis.

Top 5 based on only teams and results I have seen

1. Chillicothe/Eastern R. Did not get to settle it at Rocky Brands because 4x4 was not ran both teams are very good
3. Unioto Very Good Distance Crew, strong in some of the field .
4.Athens maybe 3 did not see there whole team at Rocky Brands
5.Zane Trace- Looked at there results from the RL at SE they are strong once again all around

At RL Davisson Southeastern girls downed #6 ZT, #13 McClain, #14 Adena, #18 Eastern Sar. and #25 Hillsboro

I saw that looks like Zane trace was missing a few in events, and they did not run anyone in the 2 mile plus Pole vault not contested. Great win for SE though. Adena good results.

This time of the year most coaches are still putting things together.

Waverly girs didn't have any of their distance runners at Paint Valley or they would have been right there with Chillicothe in their scoring.

Whats even crazier you called it on the events teams needed to improve in just looking at league results for SCOL on girls side.

That is just seeing what they graduate and what is coming up in that area.
When you love track like me it lets me want to figure those things out. Some times when someone doesn't go out or someone new comes in it can make you look like you don't know what you are talking about. lol
