Many thought that he would quit after winning the Super Bowl last year. The reports that his son has transfered to a high school in Tampa may go a long with him quiting. Tony never wanted to coach past the age of 50 and since his one son died of suicide he wants to spend as much time with his family. Tony Dungy does not live for football like many coaches and does so much good outside of football. Good luck Tony Dungy in whatever choice you make.

If he calls it quits then that will be it, he will never come back, he has nothing to prove, he has won a super bowl(technically two if you count Gruden's with Dungy's players in Tampa Bay), he will have no reason or desire to come back

Didnt say there was anything wrong with that . Just stating a fact . I dont care if he left for dog catcher , Just repeating what he said. Letting people know why he wont be coaching next year. (this is the pro sports forum) :-D
