Could a 5-7 or WORSE team get a Bowl Bid this season?

The Answer is YES...
Heres a list of the # of Bowl Eligible teams by Conference...
PAC12 - 10
SEC - 10
ACC - 9
B1G - 8
AAC - 8
BIG XII - 6
MAC - 7
MWC - 7
CUSA - 5
SUN BELT - 3
IND - 2
# of Bowl Eligible teams is 75...
Oddly enough there are 41 BOWL GAMES... Sooo we could see a couple under .500 in Bowl Games... The window is closing quickly however!
There will be 5 teams under 6-6 record in a Bowl Game

I don't think OU deserves a bowl and they have 7 wins

They got shunned last year.. they were 6-6
However Ohio beat Marshall AND Took Minnesota to the end this season.... So theres some credibility there..

FCS ER WHATEVER THEY CALL IT. STUFF LIKE COASTAL CAROLINA, CHARLESTON SOUTHERN DOES NOT COUNT TOWARDS A BOWL.

We are lucky the MAC east is bad outside of BG. The MAC west is very good

We complain about it but I'm sure we would watch two 0-12 teams play. We love football

Oddly enough, this is true haha! But, you aren't bowl eligible unless you get to 6 wins.

That they did, was a good game to take in, but in the end the Cats came up short in regulation.

If I remember about 5-6 years ago. A 5-7 Georgia Tech team Made a Bowl Game against USC... (Southern Cal)

The fact is... Theres 41 Bowl Games. They will NOT Cancel Bowl Games. Theres $$$ tied up in Sponsorships and commercials etc... $$$ for the Conferences being represented.

You are as bad as Athens78 and all your naysaying! The Cats just took Northern Illinois behind the woodshed tonight in DeKalb. 8-4 is a pretty darn good season. Beating Marshall and Northern.

Ohio Tonight did something no MAC team has done since I believe 2009... Thats give Northern Illinois a loss in November.
IMO Ohio just picked up their 2nd best win behind beating Marshall. They are a quality team.
