Tough loss on the road for the Buckeyes.
Purdue comes into the Shoe, and gets to face a Buckeyes team that
needs to refocus, and take out some frustration.
What's your thoughts?

Ohio State finally met a physical team tonight. Iowa will be the last Big Ten team that could remotely compare.

...and no one outside Ohio will care.

I don't give a crap what anyone outside of Ohio thinks.
The Buckeyes lost to Wisconsin, boo whooo, cry about it on the flight back, and get ready for the next game.
Still plenty of football to be played, starting with Purdue.

Great mentality to have. I can't remember my bucknuts account, but just reading thread titles they need a group therapy session or something.

The Buckeyes have lofty goals for a reason, 5 straight conference titles, one of the top 4 teams of an entire decade,
dominance over your arch rival, top level talent, and consistant coaching.
When you set the goals that high, more often than not you may find yourself falling short.
But, NEVER, EVER, apologize for having those goals.
If you get knocked down, get back up, and kick the crap out of the next guy that walks through the door.
It's amazing that all of my Michigan fan contacts texted me within 2 minutes of the conclusion of the game, talking crap.
I sent them a group text and asked them to remind me of the score of their game.
I had two Florida fan friends call me within 10 minutes of the loss,
I asked how it felt to lose their third straight, and second in a row at home.
When the Buckeyes lose, the haters come out to dance on our graves.
That's fine, I love it.
Why, because I'd rather be hated than pitied.
Losing sucks, but it could be worse. We could be Michigan.

this should be a revenge game from last year.

When Purdue beat the Buckeyes last year, they asked Purdue coach Danny Hope how he felt with the upset,
he responded, "Get Used To It!"
That sound bite has been played a lot in this town all year long.
The faithful have been looking forward to showing Hope what he can get used to for awhile now.

After last year and the way OSU played against Wisconsin this past game, I really don't know what to expect. I hope the Buckeyes come out fired up and play like they are capable of though.
Go Buckeyes!

And when purdue has a 320 pound average on the o-line, and a 260 pound running back, and an offensive philosophy completey opposite of what they have now, then the blueprint will apply

And only about 5 teams can manage to use that blueprint.

In theory, OSU should win this game easily.
But lets not forget this is the same Purdue team that beat them last year, and know they are beatable. That will be the only think working in their favor.
tOSU needs to replace their special teams coach ASAP. They have sucked arse all year on special teams. Next should be the offensive line coach for not being able to effectively run block for 2 straight years now with 4 and 5 star recruits that have started 2-3 years.
Sorry, but when you have talent like we have there is no reason to choke it up on at least one game a year to teams we shouldnt lose.
The only good that came from the Wisky game is maybe Pryor realizes he is not that great of a QB and comes back again next year with the talent coming out of college at QB in the draft this year.

This paragraph is what makes college football so fun. It doesnt matter what happens to your team...when the team you hate the most loses, then it is a win in some regards.
You guys know how I feel about the Buckeyes...I honestly couldnt care less if they win at all. But when my Gators lose, that is what matters. An OSU loss doesnt make me feel better about what I see from Florida.
I only poke fun at others when they have given it to me in the past. I like to argue, not poke fun.

Question for Buckeye fans...
What did you do when the game ended?
Im young and emotional, so therefore Ive lived and died by Florida football for years. When the game-tying FG attempt came off the kickers foot I fell to the floor. Face down with my head in my arm. I didnt get up for about 15 minutes. Finally, my girlfriend (IT WAS OUR ANNIVERSARY BY THE WAY) said "Well, they cant win them all." ... I replied "Thanks for your wonderful insight" and then I finally got up and realized there are more important things in life than the Florida Gators.

I did not get upset like I usually do, I just felt disappointed. But I felt better that we had a solid running game by someone not named Pryor.
