Green H.S. band is headed to Indianapolis today for the National Band Competition... They performed their program today before the student body, parents and relatives, and the community.. They will perform at the Nationals Thurs. evening at 9:00 pm.

WSAZ's Randy Yohe was also there.. A segment will be aired this evening...Wed...Nov.14th between 5 and 6.

The grade school children and teachers were lined up with signs as the fire trucks, emergency vehicles, etc. led them out of the school and village................Lots of excitement and well wishes...

That sounds great. It's good to see that Green schools and fans recognize and support their band members as much as other events. Good Job and Good Luck to the Green High School Band at Nationals.

Seen it on the eleven o'clock news tonight. I love to watch and listen to marching bands. Good luck to all the kids and I hope they win.

Green received a 3... They didn't make it to the finals or semifinals.. Some said it was their best performance of the year.. They are a small band with a big sound.. It was an unforgettable experience for them. They have gone to Nationals 2 out of 3 years... Some bands had over 60 in their color guard alone.. Green has just 51 in the entire band..
